Parapet/Tunnel Mounted, Emergency Crossing Countdown, Near Side Marker Post - Type 7

Near side marker post used on UK Motorways to countdown to emergency crossings in tunnels and other places where verge mounted posts cannot be used. 

Blue Vinyl for Motorway use.

It is mounted using double sided butyl adhesive and should be located 50mm below the top of the parapet 450 mm above verge level.

Position and Spacing in Relation to the Emergency Crossing

Posts are fixed at 100 m intervals.

Type 7 (3) 300 m from crossing.
Type 7 (2) 200 m from crossing.
Type 7 (1) 100 m from crossing.
